Oct 7, 2012: Japanese electronics giant Akai has introduced Smart Box in India which would allow users to browse internet through TV. The new gadget is priced at Rs 6,590. The company hopes that they can sell around 1 lakh devices in the coming few months. It is Android OS powered device with a 1.25 GHz processor which has a 4GB internal memory. The Smart box has USB ports for connecting other devices including 3G dongle.
