Apparel Brand Indian Terrain launches men’s accessories


April 3, 2013: Indian Terrain, the men’s apparel brand is following the footsteps of other brands such as Allen Solly and Arrow and has launched their own brand of accessories. The apparel brand announced their entry into accessories business by launching socks and boxers. The company has launched its brand of socks and boxers at a very affordable price by keeping in mind the brands mid premium positioning. Socks from Indian Terrain is priced between Rs.169 to Rs.199 and boxers are priced at Rs.399. This is just Rs.50 above the price of accessories sold by brands like VIP and Jockey.

Indian Terrain with the launch of these accessories is also trying to leverage the brand strength of its trousers some of which are slightly lower on the waist. The latest trouser launched by Indian Terrian Brooklyn Khaki Trousers is one among them. The company is planning to sell these accessories through their own outlets and as well as through stores like Lifestyle and Shoppers Stop. They are also in talks with distributors dealing with VIP and Jockey. Indian Terrain is also mulling over launching their own brands of Smart Casuals, Shoes and Belts by the end of this year.
