Coca-Cola to focus on Indian market


Sept 14, 2012:  Coca-Cola announced the separation of its India and South West Asia operations as part of their strategic plan to focus on India as a long term strategic growth market. As per the move, the Coca-Cola India and South West Asia operations which comprise key markets such as India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives will be separated into two regions as India region and South West Asia regions including other countries.

As per the official reports, the market for Coca-Cola in India has been growing for the past 24 quarters and is one among the top seven markets for the company.
