Fashion is an umbrella term that covers the way you dress, make-up, accessorize and furnish. It is an industry where everyone is part of. How you carry yourself adds to your personality. If you are well dressed or ‘well-fashioned’, you can make your own style statement. And who knows, somebody might actually sport themselves like the way you carry yourself!

India is home for a variety of fashion types. We have in our stores, traditional, indo-western, western, gypsy, African and what not! We are people who welcome all kinds of fashion into our lives. After all we are the second most populated country in the world and we have enough people to try out all kinds of fashions!

Teenagers and youngsters are the ones who follow the trends on a strict basis. Celebrities that appear in social media influence them a lot. There was a time when the Bollywood movies “Tashan” and “Om Shanti Om” released with Kareena Kapoor sporting her size zero waist and Shah Rukh Khan sporting his six-pack abdomen respectively came out when all youngsters were obsessed with those kinds of body shapes. It is the same with clothes, jewelry, bags, hats, shoes as well. When Sharman Joshi wore his red Converse high tops in the movie “3 Idiots”, men and women alike went crazy for those. The craziness went even worse when Aamir and his men introduced the exclusive 3 Idiots merchandise. The senior and junior Bachchan couples have always been idols to their respective age groups. Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal have all been style icons.

Jeans is an unavoidable necessity in any youth’s wardrobe. For girls, they tend to match a kurta or a tunic and sometimes a dupatta to go with it, or else a top or a t-shirt. Skirts are summer favorites and so are all clothes in cotton.  For guys, it is a shirt or a t-shirt and now with brands like Fabindia and others bringing in really elegant kurtas to the market, men, all age groups are taking a dive in to see what it looks like to wear a kurta. Even though we include in our wardrobes materials from different parts of the world, go after brand names, we will still have at least one or two typical Indian ethnic wear clothes that are close to our heart. Shervanis have always been a groom’s favourite and Sarees, Lehengas a bride’s.

While international brands like Levi’s , Pepe Jones , Wrangler, Calvin Klein , Lee, Spykar
, Hush Puppies , Citizen  have all made their mark in the Indian Fashion Industry, we also have our very own Fabindia , Bata, Fastrack etc capturing the market at a great pace.
