Essel Group enters UAE market

Sept 18, 2012: Indian based conglomerate Essel Group entered UAE market with their brand “Chandra” that offers herbal and personal care products.  According to the company sources, the entry into UAE market is part of their strategic plan to introduce comprehensive wellness concept across the Middle East countries.  The wellness concept of Essel Group include beauty care and anti-ageing  products along with a natural health and wellness network, television channel and ayurvedic cosmetics and supplements.

The natural beauty care market in UAE is growing at a rate of 12 to 15% a year as a result of growing demand for toxic free herbal beauty products. It is expected that the skin and beauty care market in UAE will cross $500 million by 2015.
