'FLOW - BREW & DINE' opens its doors in COMMONS, DLF Avenue, Saket

The latest entrant in the dining scene of South Delhi, FLOW, has opened doors at COMMONS, DLF Avenue, Saket. The restaurant aims to deliver an uninterrupted and engaging dining journey, offering a delectable fusion of various global culinary techniques and tastes. The restaurant boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with a top-notch microbrewery, promising an exceptional and incomparable dining experience.

Spanning an impressive 9000 square feet, the outlet is thoughtfully split into a 5500 square feet indoor space and a sprawling 3500 square feet alfresco/ outdoor dining area. With a seating capacity of 276, the restaurant’s versatile space effortlessly flows from a serene all-day diner to a high-energy bar space by the night. Home to the longest bar in Delhi, the restaurant has a live sushi and pizza counter along with an on-site microbrewery serving eight distinct beers. The restaurant’s signature offerings draw inspiration from the fascinating OCTOPUS, a highly adaptable, intelligent, and an enigmatic shapeshifter that changes itself with time and mood, just like FLOW.

At FLOW, the food menu is curated by renowned chefs in the industry, and is a joyous tribute to diverse cuisines and tailored to cater to the preferences of its patrons. Expertly crafted by Chef Ruchira Hoon and executed by Chef Kunal Bahl, it seamlessly blends Modern European, Asian, Indian, and Mediterranean culinary styles, complementing the classic Neapolitan-style pizzas and juicy burgers. The restaurant strongly believes that dining is an immersive experience to be savoured and treasured, and its menu aims to deliver a culinary journey that stimulates and gratifies all the senses.

The bar menu showcases a collection of bespoke cocktails, meticulously put together by one of India’s most accomplished mixologists, Yangdup Lama. Designed to cater to a wide range of preferences, the cocktail menu offers a diversity of options, including classic drinks with a unique twist and inventive concoctions. Alongside the tempting cocktails, Mr. Lama has also created an exceptional mocktail menu. The bar menu also offers a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, such as refreshing cold-pressed juices, specially-crafted iced teas, and Bili Hu coffee brews, to perfectly complement your dining experience.

“Delhi is witnessing growth of beer culture and while microbreweries are still at a nascent stage in the city, lots are expected to open this year. Making the most of this opportunity, opening a microbrewery was an obvious next step. My aim is to make FLOW city’s best large-format microbrewery, an all-day diner and an experiential space to host events and have an unparalleled dining experience.”  – Swadeep Popli, Founder & CEO, FLOW

FLOW is not just a treat for the taste buds, but its interiors are also a sight to behold. Designed by the award-winning MOFA Studios, the space exudes an artistic vibe that is captivating and striking. A fusion of diverse spaces, the outlet embodies an Eat-Play-Drink ethos. The restaurant’s showstopper is the 50 ft long bar, adorned with steel mosaic tiles and finished with a lustrous bronze sheen, adding to the establishment’s grandeur. In an unconventional yet fun way to break stereotypes, there has been an intentional play on the colors for the washrooms.

Patrons are welcomed by a long, vaulted gallery space featuring larger-than-life steel beer drums, imparting a lively atmosphere that contrasts the serene seating area. With a minimalistic design approach, the interior seamlessly blends privacy and continuity by connecting the broken spaces with a series of arches that frame stunning vistas of the restaurant.

The flooring features Terrazzo 1300 cut botticino pieces laid via a stencil in a flowing pattern done in situ. The fluid rippled curves, exuding a playful vibe, while the material palette, consisting of burnt wooden planks and white painted stucco walls, is simple yet sophisticated.

Speaking on the development, Siddharth Natu, Vice-President & Cluster Head – Delhi, DLF Retail said, “At DLF, we always aim to deliver unique and remarkable experiences for our patrons and the addition of FLOW at COMMONS, DLF Avenue is a testament to our relentless efforts towards becoming a destination of experiences. Through the years, DLF Avenue has established itself as a highly creative premise where people come together to savour the best cuisines and experience the captivating ambience. FLOW’s exceptional and incomparable dining experience is certainly going to heighten the charm of the premises and given the city’s love for beer, this should be an instant hit.”
