Sept 8, 2012: Hero MotoCorp confirmed that it would be phasing out three models – Ignitor and Impulse motor cycles and Maestro scooter over a period of time. These vehicles were developed sourcing technology help from their erst while partner Honda Motor Co. Hero officials stated that they would be developing new vehicles with technology support from new partners to phase out those vehicles developed in partnership with Honda.
