Hewlett-Packard launches ElitePad Business Tablet

March 7, 2013: Targeting the enterprise segment, Hewlett-Packard has launched its new business tablet “ElitePad”. HP with the launch of “ElitePad” is trying to break into the business segment and is trying to capitalise on the trend of BYOD (bring your own device). The company has priced this new tab in the Rs.40,000 price change. The ElitePad has got several interesting features which included a spare battery for Rs.5,000 extra and this can give an additional back up of 11 hours. The tablet itself gives a battery life of eight hours.

ElitePad Business Tablet has got a screen size of 10.1 inches, weighs 630 grams and double as a PC. It has got a docking system and a keyboard and so users can use this tab as a PC as well. The tab also comes with a Executive Tablet Pen which allows the business users to write on the screen and save it as a typed text. Any document from the tab can be printed from anywhere in the world from the printer of choice and this feature makes the tab a good buy for business class users.
