ITC expands its product portfolio launches ‘Engage’ deodorants

May 24, 2013: Marking its foray in the deodorant market ITC’s Personal Care Product Business launched its first range of deodorants, ‘Engage’. With this launch, ITC is trying to augment its portfolio of consumer products. Speaking on the occasion of the launch of Engage, Sandeep Kaul, CEO, ITC- Personal Care Product Business said “Deodorants as a segment in Personal Care is experiencing swift and dynamic growth. Engage is uniquely poised to leverage this opportunity and carve a significant consumer mindshare.  With freshness at its core and a simple yet modern proposition of romance, we are sure Engage will be identified by its distinct fragrances that stir up myriad emotions of love.” 

Entire range of Engage would be available for men and women who are looking for 24 hour freshness. The three pairs of Engage which would be available for sale are:

  • Rush (Male) & Blush (Female)
  • Mate (Male) & Spell (Female) &
  • Urge (Male) & Tease (Female)

The complete range of Engage which is priced at Rs. 160 for 165 ml bottle tries to address the inherent need of couples to Engage in playful chemistry. Engage deodorants would be available for men in a classical black with effervescent colours and for women the deo can would be in Pink, Yellow and Blue colours. ‘Silhouettes’ have been used as its key design component.
