Dec 6, 2012: In a major development, Lan Mark one of the major consumer durable retailers in South India famous for its cluster approach with nearly 200 showrooms in Kerala alone has decided to rebrand its home appliance business as White Mart. The White Mart has ambitious plans of having 500 outlets in whole of South India by 2015 and 50 shops in Tamil Nadu alone by the end of 2013. The rebranding exercise will start by December 6 and they plan to enter Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka as part of next phase of expansion. This was revealed by Mr. Jerry Mathew, Managing Director, Lan Mark Shops India Ltd.
