LinkedIn debuts dedicated job search app in US for iPhone users

June 22, 2014: LinkedIn has a new app but for the time being only to their users in US. It seems to be in test mode before it is being launched in other countries too. This app has got all features required to manage your job search end-to-end. Job search is available now also, but the new app promises to make it more private and avoid any distractions like other updates coming in your way like news and other content. This app is just for job search, dedicated to it. You can search for jobs and filter jobs by seniority,  industry and job function.

With this app, you can not only do the searches and apply to them on the go, but also save the searches and results so that you can act on it later too. This application is currently made available for iOS devices and is downloadable from Apple store. The online magazine Mashable reported the availability of this app, but yet to see an official version and write up on this app from LinkedIn. It could be in a trial mode. The design of the app looks intuitive as visible from the screenshot given below. It could be useful for people on the move. Since the app is completely designed for mobile devices, it is quite easy to search, navigate through the options, check out the job details and also to apply and upload your documents.
