Marico to target youth

Sept 12, 2012: Marico,  which has been into the business of food and personal care for middle-aged consumers want to make use of newly acquired Paras personal care portfolio to attract youth. The company will use the Paras’ brands such as Set Wet, Zatak, and Livon to take advantage of the spendthrift young Indian consumers.

The company’s brands such as Saffola and Parachute oil has been well penetrated in the market. According to official sources, there is huge growth opportunity for them by targeting youth of the country. Marico acquired the Paras brands from Reckitt Benckiser two months back.
