Nov 28, 2012: iMac the desktop computers from Apple has gone under the knife and a slimmer version of the same will be available from this Friday. The smaller version of the slimmed down iMac will be available from USD 1, 299 and upwards. The 21.5 inch model will be available at USD 1,299 and 27 inch model would start from USD 1,799. Initially only the smaller model will be available and the bigger model will be available only from next month. The speciality of the new model iMac is that it does not have a disk drive and the thickness is just one fifth of the old model.
