Nissan Evalia breaks clutter by using music for audio advertising

Dec 13, 2012: Have you seen the latest ad of Nissan Evalia? Heard the music which the TVC carry? Nissan which launched its Evalia in the SUV segment has tried to use music to break the clutter in audio advertising. Music has been used to differentiate Nissan Evalia with the other SUV’s in the segment. The concept designed by TBWA has a band of musicians united by music in the TVC. Evalia which has a fuel economy of 19 km/l is considered to be the one of the most fuel efficient vehicles in the category is also considered the cheapest. According to Director-Marketing & Sales, Nissan India, Mr. Nitish Tipnis, “We want this car to be music to your ears and wallet”. For the advertisement of Evalia, Nissan has roped in six musicians that is something very unique. The musicians roped in for the advertisement are: Sunidhi Chauhan, Anushka Manchanda, Andrea Jeremiah, Vijay Prakash, Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire.
