PepsiCo launches two new flavours, comes out with new Lay’s campaign

March 6, 2013: PepsiCo India which recently launched two new international flavours of their leading potato chips brand Lay’s has launched its new campaign for this brand. The new campaign which will reflect the ‘prankster’ in all of us will feature its brand ambassador Saif Ali Khan. The new ad film which is will be aired will have a tagline ‘Chile Limon Khaya Toh Yeh Panga Dimag Mein Aya’. PepsiCo had recently launched Lay’s Chile Limon and Lay’s French Salt & Cracked Pepper.

According to Gaurav Mehta, Category Director, Western Snacks, PepsiCo India, “Lay’s is known for its great tasting and fun offerings. With the launch of these new flavours, we are adding excitement to our consumers’ snack time. This campaign for Lay’s Chile Limon is all about enjoying the lighter moments with friends. The new campaign will start with a TVC which will go on air from March 5 onwards and will reflect the moods of pranksters.

The new TVC as part of the campaign will convey that pranks are fun and it brings out the mischief side of a person. The ad campaign will be focusing on Lay’s Chile Limon and the company is planning for a 360 degree marketing campaign including below the line and above the line communication. PepsiCo’s new flavour Lay’s Chile Limon has got a great combination of chilli and lemon flavours which are considered the favourite of Indian consumers.
