Aug 30, 2012: Premium milk brand “Pride of Cows” priced at Rs 75 per litre is launched in Pune by Parag Milk Foods. The company announced that the milk will be delivered only at home by order and will not be available in any retail outlets. The company claims that the milk is more hygienic as it is not touched by humans at any stage of processing and maintain cold storage right from the farm.
Parag Milk Foods launched its premium milk brand last year in Mumbai and claims to sell 5000 litres per day. According to the company sources, their customer lists include prominent names like Sachin Tendulkar, Raj Kundra, Hrithik Roshan, Nita Ambani etc.
