Ringing Bells launches Rs 251 Priced Smartphone

An India based smartphone manufacturer Ringing Bells has made a revolution in the smartphone industry as it will be introducing the cheapest smartphone ever. Well, the company has announced that it will be launching an Rs 251 priced smartphone. Yes! You read it right. A smartphone priced at Rs 251. This is a move that is made to disrupt the rapidly growing marketing in India.

The Defense Minister of the country, Manohar Parrikkar will be launching this Ringing Bells’ smartphone dubbed Freedom 251. The launch event will be presided by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi.

When it comes to the specifications of the Freedom 251 smartphone, the device comes with a 4 inch display and it is equipped with a quad core processor ticking at 1.3 GHz clock speed under its hood. This processor is teamed up 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native storage capacity. This internal storage space can be expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card slot. The entire device draws its power from a 1,450 mAh battery.

The Freedom 251 from Ringing Bells is available for pre-order between 6 AM on February 18 and 8 PM on February 21. The manufacturer claims that the ordered units will be delivered to the interested customers within June 30, 2016.

The launch of the Freedom 251 smartphone is in line with the vision of the country’s Prime Minister for empowering the country to the last person and transforming the growth story of India, stated the company.

Ringing Bells based in Noida was established in 2015 and it will start with the handsets’ assembly and aim at the complete indigenous development of the smartphones that are feature rich. The company did not disclose any information about the manufacturing and products.

Apart from the Freedom 251, Ringing Bells has unveiled one of the cheapest 4G smartphones in the country priced at Rs 2,999. The manufacturer has launched two features phones as well.
