Samsung launches Android Galaxy camera at Rs. 29,900

Nov 23, 2012: Samsung today launched its Android powered Galaxy Camera in India. The camera which has got Android 4.1 is priced at Rs. 29, 900. This revolutionary product is the second Android based camera to be launched in the country. Earlier Nikon had launched its Nikon S800C, which is aggressively priced at Rs. 20, 950. Nikon Android based camera is Rs. 9000 cheaper than the Samsung Android Galaxy camera.

The Android camera launched by Samsung has host of features including sim-card for 3 G Connectivity and has a inbuilt wi-fi. As part of the launch, Samsung has tied up with Airtel and the service provider is providing 1 GB of free monthly data for 2 months as part of promotion. An extra battery is also being given free.
