The online marketplace ShopClues has come up with a film themed ad campaign named #MallNahiMarket that underlines the company’s value for money shopping experience proposal. The ad film of ShopClues has been conceptualized by the advertising agency Enormous Brands.
The protagonist of the ad film themed #MallNahiMarket is a young man who browses ShopClues on his mobile phone. Once he enters the mobile site of the online marketplace, the jingle of Mall nahi market begins and a market discloses around him. He immediately breaks into a jig and celebrates each deal with a different dance move. The ad film ends showing more people joining the shopper enjoying the deals offered by the platform. As a part of the campaign, there will be three more TV commercials that will be launched soon.
The AVP of Marketing at ShopClues, Nitin Agarwal stated that through the new ad campaign, their main endeavor is to restore the brand positioning of ShopClues as the ultimate online marketplace mainly for the value conscious shoppers. He added that they want to emphasize on the move of replicating bazaar like familiarity and user experience on both the online and mobile platforms. The customers can expect the widest product range and price tags as well that remind their favorite markets. The USP of the brand is what they want to communicate through their latest TVCs.
The Managing Partner at Enormous Brands, Ashish Khazanchi stated that while shopping at malls is a concept that is from the west, shopping at a market is an experience that the customers in India are used to. ShopClues has drawn something parallel to the bazaar experiences that will be appealing to the masses. The #MallNahiMarket campaign aims to meet the expectations of the customers in a relatable as well as colloquial tone and way.
