Customer goes through certain stages before making a product purchase decision. Understanding these stages often helps business in increased product/service promotion and hence in attaining strategic goals. The main stages of customer decision making process are

  • Post Purchase Evaluation

Information gathering can be done through a variety of sources like personal, commercial, and public sources. After collecting necessary information, customer will evaluate different product choices to make a final decision. Purchased product is again evaluated to understand whether it has satisfied the requirements.
