Oct 19, 2012: TAM, the TV ratings measurement agency in India has stated that they will not be releasing the ratings data for two months as they foresee some discrepancy in data during these 2 months owing to the mandatory transition to digital cable TV networks in metro cities. Broadcasting companies expect ratings to drop which could impact their credibility and financial standing due to this transition process. As you know Government has given November 1 as the last date for users in metro cities to subscribe to digital cable services.
