The German carmaker BMW which sold its first car in 1975 and has12 million cars worldwide since then recently unveiled a longer yet a lighter version of its 3-series midsize car. This BMW car which has got energy saving features is said to be more fuel efficient that its predecessors and focuses on quality, comfort and style. It is said that at the time of launch the car will available with four engines and more options will follow in the future. The latest 3 series BMW is set to be officially launched in January 2012 in the Detroit motor show and the sale will start from February 2012. In India the sale is expected to commence by mid 2012. According to various sources this beauty is going to be priced in the range of $48,808 to $60, 199 and in India it may be priced in the range of Rs.22-35 lakhs. This new 3 series car is set to compete with Volvo, Audi 4 and Mercedes S Class.
