Vadilal to focus on value added products, launches Power Sip

Dec 8, 2012: Vadilal known for its ice-creams with Rs. 400 crore turnover after launching Power Sip in the Indian flavoured milk market which is valued at Rs. 400 crore will be focusing on value added products only in the long run.

According to its MD, Mr. Rajesh Gandhi, Vadilal would not be entering into the pouched milk market since they are not fully a dairy company even though they procure 1 lakh litres of milk daily and process 20000 lts of milk an hour, instead they will be focusing on value added products only. Vadilal would be using the liquid milk for ice creams only.

 Vadilal Industries, the Ahmedabad based company is trying to garner 5-7% of the market with Power Sip in the next 3 years time and in initially Power Sip would be available in Gujarat, M.P, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
