Aug 15, 2012: Volvo, the global leaders in truck segment, will launch a new range of new generation trucks in Indian roads through its joint venture with Eicher Motors. Volvo’s competitor, Daimler is gearing up for the launch of its BharatBenz series of trucks. The new generation trucks would support 5 tonne to 49 tonne and would be built with new platforms, engines and cabins.
