Xiaomi Redmi Note Sale to Commence on December 2 via Flipkart

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi that is considered the Apple of China announced the Redmi Note phablet in India early this week. The device was launched three months later its announcement alongside the Mi3 and Redmi 1S. The vendor claimed that it will be letting the Redmi Note on sale starting from December 2 exclusively via the online retailer giant Flipkart.

Likewise the Mi3 and Redmi 1S, the interest users will have to register in advance to purchase the Redmi Note and it will be going on sale every Tuesday. Well, it is known that the phablet will be keeping the flash sale trend going as its siblings. The first registration process is already open and it will go on till December 1. Now, Xiaomi has announced that it will be letting 50,000 units of the phablet on sale for the next week and the first registered users will be able to grab the device.

In addition, Flipkart came up with an interesting option for those potential buyers of the Redmi Note. By subscribing to the Flipkart First service, the users can get the Redmi Note added to their shopping cart automatically on December 1 itself. Also, the subscribers can purchase the phablet on the same day, while its official availability will be debuting on December 2.

Notably, the registration on Flipkart First should be done before November 29 and only the first five thousand users would be eligible for this wonderful chance. We definitely know that by now the limit would have been crossed as there is a great hype going on in the Indian market for the Xiaomi devices. But, we hope the retailer has some more enticing options for the other Flipkart First subscribers.

To refresh on the specs, Redmi Note flaunts a 5.5 inch IPS display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. There is a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 SoC aided by 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native storage capacity that can be extended externally. Imaging wise, the device features 13 MP primary snapper with auto focus and LED flash at its back and a 5 MP front facer for video conferencing.

The Redmi Note model comes packed with connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, OTG and dual SIM functionality. It draws power from a 3,100 mAh battery and runs on the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean based MIUI v5 skin.
