July 17, 2012: Yahoo announced the appointment of Ms. Marissa Meyer as the new CEO. She is a veteran in the Internet search business with over13 years of experience working with Google. She was credited for her contribution to Google’s search engine platform adding more than 100 features and new products. Yahoo has made an aggressive move to take on Google by bringing in this veteran to the leadership position.
