93.5 RED FM in Collaboration with Bangalore Traffic Police Wrapped Up ‘Second Chance Nahi Milega’ Campaign, Turning Ganesha Festivities into a Road Safety Movement

Bangalore, september,2025 – As the city of Bangalore welcomed Lord Ganesha with devotion and festive cheer, Superhits 93.5 RED FM, in collaboration with the Bangalore Traffic Police, gave the celebrations a deeper meaning through its impactful social awareness initiative, “Second Chance Nahi Milega.” Held from 18th to 29th August 2025, the campaign raised awareness on the importance of helmet usage and responsible riding across the city.

Drawing inspiration from mythology, the initiative reminded people of the story of Lord Ganesha, who was revived after losing his head. In real life, however, there are no second chances. The only way to safeguard lives is by wearing a helmet. With this powerful thought, RED FM and the Bangalore Traffic Police transformed the festive spirit into an opportunity for positive change.

Second Chance Nahi Milega spread the message of road safety through impactful on-ground and on-air activations.

Key highlights included:

  • On-Ground Engagements: RED FM RJs and team along with Bangalore traffic police, were stationed at high-traffic areas, corporate hubs and college zones. Riders found without helmets were stopped, educated on road safety and given an ISI-marked helmet as a fresh start.
RJ Interactions & Social Media Amplification: RJs captured live bytes, shared commuters’ stories and broadcast strong safety messages both on-air and across social platforms.
Core Message: “Your head won’t get a second chance – protect it before it’s too late.

The initiative covered over 20 high-footfall locations in Bangalore, including Indiranagar, Rajajinagar, Basavanagudi, MG Road, Koramangala, Silk Board, HSR Layout, Mekhri Circle, and more—ensuring wide reach and maximum impact.

Suresh Ganesan – General Manager, Karnataka, RED FM Through ‘Second Chance Nahi Milega’, we transformed festive celebration into civic action. By linking the wisdom of mythology with modern road safety, we didn’t just tell people to wear helmets—we gave them a reason they could never forget.”

Karthik Reddy – Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bengaluru City said “We are very happy with the initiative taken by 93.5 Red FM where they took up Second Chance Nahi Milega campaign. They created awareness about the importance of helmets & they gave free helmets to the two-wheeler riders who were not wearing helmets. I just want to tell the youth and the other two Wheeler drivers that helmet is not for the fear of law but it is for your own safety. Kindly drive safe and go home safe.”

With ‘Second Chance Nahi Milega,’ 93.5 RED FM, in partnership with the Bangalore Traffic Police, not only celebrated Ganesha Chaturthi but also inspired Bangalore to make helmet safety a lifelong habit. Because when it comes to protecting lives, there truly are no second chances.
