Aug 25, 2012: Toyota launched new version of premium sedan Camry in India at an introductory showroom price of Rs 23.8 lakh in Delhi. As per the company sources, this will be the seventh generation of Camry model and they will be manufacturing it in India to make it available fast in the market. The new Camry model will have a 2.5 litre petrol engine along with 6 speed automatic transmission. It will be having a petrol version only for now in global markets. The new car is positioned at premium sedan segment and will compete with Honda Accord, Volkswagen Passat and Skoda Superb.
