bigbasket, a TATA enterprise and leading online supermarket, has unveiled an innovative sustainability campaign by transforming bus stops in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi into lush garden billboards. These green shelters serve as living testaments to the brand’s eco-conscious efforts, turning everyday commute points into symbols of environmental responsibility.
In Bengaluru, one bus stop proudly proclaims: “With EVs powering 1/3rd of our deliveries, we’ve reduced annual carbon emissions equivalent to nurturing 34 Cubbon Parks for a decade.”
“We didn’t want to shout our impact. We wanted to show it,” explained Raagaleena Sripada, Marketing Head, Retail at bigbasket. “These green billboards are proof that sustainability can be bold, beautiful, and part of your daily life, just like bigbasket.”
The campaign was conceptualized by creative agency Talented and brought to life in collaboration with Signpost, their out-of-home (OOH) media partner.
Amith Nair and Udit Joshi, creatives at Talented, described the vision: “The idea was simple — we wanted the medium to be as alive as the message. The design needed to blend with the city’s rhythm rather than interrupt it. This isn’t just a billboard; it’s a quiet act of care.”
Shripad Ashtekar, Managing Director at Signpost, added: “We’ve worked on many outdoor media projects, but this one truly grows on you — both literally and figuratively. It’s rewarding to create something that enhances public spaces beyond just visibility.”
bigbasket’s green billboards offer not only advertising but also a breath of fresh air — showcasing how sustainability and creativity can go hand in hand in urban environments.
