Gurugram, 16 October 2025: District by Zomato, the going-out platform, has rolled out a thoughtful new feature marking a significant step toward making going out more inclusive. The new update called “Table for One” available across 30,000+ restaurants nationwide celebrates the idea that dining out isn’t always about company, sometimes it’s simply about enjoying your own.
The move was inspired by a real consumer’s feedback. When a LinkedIn user shared a post highlighting the difficulty of booking a table for one on the platform, the District team took the feedback in stride. What began as a user suggestion soon turned into a platform-wide feature update, reinforcing District’s commitment to building a truly human, responsive, and user-first product.
To mark this update, District has also released a short ad film that captures the quiet joy of solo dining, a reminder that taking yourself out can be just as meaningful as dining with others.
