Mumbai, November 4, 2025: When District approached Notice to create something extraordinary for the 10-year anniversary launch of Bahubali: The Epic, the intent was clear to celebrate the fan, elevate their experience, and mark the return of the epic that redefined Indian cinema. The brief was simple: make it feel as grand as the story itself.
Known for transforming everyday objects into bold expressions of art and individuality, Notice the design-led experimental object brand saw this as the perfect opportunity to merge design with cinematic storytelling. For District, this collaboration was about extending that storytelling beyond the screen, creating a tangible experience that connects fans to the scale and emotion of Bahubali in a new, unexpected way.
It was District that first brought the idea of doing something with the crown the most iconic symbol of Bahubali’s legacy. From there, Notice took the idea and brought it to life in the grandest way possible. Instead of creating just another piece of film merchandise, Notice designed an experience that transforms a simple popcorn bucket into something iconic.
The crown sits neatly atop the bucket, turning the everyday cinema ritual of eating popcorn into a moment of connection with the film’s epic spirit.
Developed by Notice’s team of designers, engineers, and makers, each piece reflects the brand’s signature focus on material, balance, and precision ensuring every detail feels intentional and elevated.
This collaboration between District and Notice is a celebration of storytelling, scale, and thoughtful design an experience built for the fans who have carried the legend of Bahubali for a decade. A limited number will be available exclusively at Miraj Cinemas, Mumbai, during the launch of Bahubali: The Epic, a small tribute to the massiveness of the film, the devotion of its audience, and a reminder that great design can make even the simplest moments feel monumental.
