The initiative aims to raise awareness about diabetes prevention, early detection, and effective lifestyle management. As part of the campaign, Redcliffe Labs is offering a pre-diabetes risk test to help individuals detect the condition early, along with a free diet consultation and expert guidance for those with borderline or confirmed diabetes results.
India has the second-largest number of adults with diabetes globally, and nearly 1 in 3 adults in India may have prediabetes; most don’t even know it, underscoring the urgent need for better public understanding of the disease. To address this, the campaign introduces a ‘Diabetes Dictionary’, a digital resource attached to every test report on World Diabetes Day. This dictionary simplifies commonly used diabetes-related terms, enabling people to accurately interpret their test results and understand their health risks more clearly.
In a gesture that brings the campaign’s message to life, all Redcliffe Labs offices and branches across India have gone sugar-free during the awareness drive. The move reflects the company’s effort to promote mindful eating and a healthier work culture within its own ecosystem.
