Mumbai, 23 December 2025: Wrapping up the year with a lively sense of celebration, Pokémon has brought a wave of excitement to IIT Bombay’s Techfest 2025 currently underway at the IIT Bombay campus in Powai. Transforming the grounds into a vibrant hub of interactive experiences, Pokémon Fiesta is welcoming students and visitors of all ages into a world of playful engagement, technology-led entertainment and larger-than-life moments that continue through 24 December 2025.

Another major highlight of Pokémon Fiesta is India’s first Pokémon drone show and Maharashtra’s biggest which debuted to an enthusiastic response on opening night and will continue to light up the skies daily at 9 PM for the remaining two days as well. Featuring an awe-inspiring display of 1,500 drones, the custom-designed aerial showcase brings the world of Pokémon to life through striking formations, including visuals of Pikachu in its recently introduced saree and kurta look.
Beyond the marquee moments, Pokémon Fiesta Pop-up continues to offer an energetic mix of interactive experiences including a meet-and-greet with Pikachu. Beyond this, there is also a chance to explore mobile app games such as Pokémon GO and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Both apps have seen gamers and enthusiasts gathering to explore gameplay, exchange strategies and enjoy friendly competition. Adding to the excitement are complimentary Pikachu sun visors which have quickly emerged as a fan-favourite takeaway, along with a bustling Pokémon merchandise booth offering plushies of the various Pokémon. Overall, Pokémon Fiesta promises to offer visitors an opportunity to engage with Pokémon in a fresh, memorable and deeply immersive way.
