From Undhiyu to Kathiyawadi Mutton: Garvi Gujarat Food Festival Arrives in Navi Mumbai

Mumbai, 08th January 2026: The Park Navi Mumbai is all set to bring the vibrant flavours of Gujarat to the city with Garvi Gujarat – Flavours of Tradition, a special food festival celebrating the rich culinary heritage of the western state.

Hosted at West1, The Park Navi Mumbai, the festival will take place on 9th and 10th January for dinner from 8:00 PM onwards, and 11th January for brunch from 12:30 PM onwards. The festival promises guests an authentic and flavourful Gujarati dining experience.

Garvi Gujarat showcases the diversity of Gujarati cuisine, inspired by Surti, Kathiyawadi, Kutchi, and Coastal food traditions. While Gujarati cuisine is known for its vegetarian delights, the festival also features traditional non-vegetarian Gujarati dishes, offering guests a rare opportunity to explore this lesser-known side of the region’s food culture.

The vegetarian spread includes popular favourites such as Undhiyu, Dal Dhokli, Gujarati Kadhi, Sev Tameta nu Shaak, Ringna no Olo, Bajra Rotla, Thepla, and a variety of farsan like Khaman, Patra, and Methi Gota.

Adding a unique touch are authentic non-vegetarian dishes including Surti-style Chicken Curry, Kathiyawadi Mutton Masala, Coastal Gujarati Fish Curry, and Gujarati-style Egg Curry.

To enhance the dining experience, the festival features live Rotla and Thepla counters, along with a live farsan fry station, offering freshly prepared dishes and interactive culinary theatre. Traditional drinks such as Masala Chaas, Kokum Sharbat, and Aam Panna perfectly complement the meal. The experience concludes on a sweet note with classic desserts like Shrikhand, Basundi, and Mohanthal.

With its focus on authenticity, regional variety, and live food counters, Garvi Gujarat – Flavours of Tradition promises a memorable cultural and culinary experience. The festival reflects The Park Navi Mumbai’s commitment to offering unique and immersive food celebrations for its guests.
