German fashion retailer automates workflows, enhances data collection efficiency and reduces time to launch online by 50% with Centric Software

Recently, DANIELS was struggling to manage its vast product range. Manual product information updates were time-consuming and error prone. With two collections per year, each containing about 3,200 color variants, the company generates massive volumes of product data. 

“Managing the product range was overwhelming,” says Finn Grande, Head of e-commerce at DANIELS. “We had no visibility of how many products were at what stage, where in the launch process, which ones were ready and where we had information missing.”

DANIELS recognized the need for both a Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution to centralize product information, automate tasks and improve data quality. After an extensive search, the team selected Centric PIM™ and Centric DAM™, components of Centric PXM™ (formerly Contentserv).

Grande explains, “Centric PIM and DAM cover all our needs, including the flexibility of adding modules. We especially value the flexible data model, which we configured to reflect our product structures.”

Today, AI automation enables batch updates, product content is transparent and DANIELS has gained massive efficiency with Centric PIM and DAM. “We don’t have to enter product data into two locations—spreadsheets and the store system—anymore,” explains Grande.
