Chinese Wok Enters Agra with First Store, Marks 75th Outlet in North India

Agra, 27th February 2026: Chinese Wok, one of India’s leading Desi Chinese QSR brands from Lenexis Foodworks, has launched its first outlet in Agra, located at Sanjay Place, Civil Lines—one of the city’s most prominent commercial hubs. The Agra opening also marks Chinese Wok’s 75th store in North India, underlining the region’s strategic importance in the brand’s national growth roadmap.

The launch witnessed an enthusiastic response from local consumers, with strong footfall in the first week itself that signalled early acceptance and positioning the outlet as a fast-emerging destination for Chinese food lovers in the city.

Agra represents a strong consumption market driven by a young population, student communities, and growing demand for organised dining formats. The brand’s strategy focuses on building strong regional clusters across North India, enabling supply chain efficiencies, stronger recall, and consistent brand experience across neighbouring markets

With this opening, Chinese Wok continues to deepen its footprint across North India, one of the brand’s key focus regions. The expansion reflects Lenexis Foodworks’ larger vision of democratising Desi Chinese cuisine by making it accessible, affordable, and consistent across emerging urban markets.

Speaking on the launch, Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Founder & Director, Lenexis Foodworks, said, “North India continues to be a key growth engine for Chinese Wok. Reaching our 75th store in the region reflects not just expansion, but deepening consumer trust in emerging markets. Agra is not only a strong residential and commercial hub but also one of India’s most visited tourist destinations. This gives us an opportunity to serve both local consumers and the steady influx of domestic travellers seeking reliable, organised dining options. Our cluster-led strategy allows us to scale efficiently while delivering a consistent, high-quality QSR experience across cities.”

The Agra outlet is designed to cater to students, families, and working professionals, offering sharp price points, generous portions, and a diverse menu. Crowd favourites are expected to include value-led combos, the popular Superbowl starting at ₹99, Chowmein, Kurkure Momos, and Manchurian available in six distinct sauces—reinforcing Chinese Wok’s leadership in the Desi Chinese category.

The store will be operational for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery, bringing Chinese Wok’s bold Desi Chinese flavours to Agra for the first time. The new outlet is also expected to generate local employment opportunities, contributing to the city’s organised food service ecosystem.

With Agra, Chinese Wok continues to strengthen its North India footprint, reinforcing the region as a key pillar in Lenexis Foodworks’ national expansion strategy and its ambition to make organised Desi Chinese dining accessible across India’s fast-growing non-metro cities.
