Bengaluru, March 2026: This Women’s Day, Monkey Bar, Bengaluru’s favourite urban hangout, presents Sarees & Sax on 8th March 2026 from 1 PM onwards. Built around a striking pairing of style and sound, the celebration brings together one simple idea at its heart. The saree sets the theme, and the sax sets the mood.
Rooted in Monkey Bar’s easygoing spirit and vibrant culture, the afternoon invites guests to don their finest sarees, from contemporary silhouettes to timeless weaves, and step into a space where elegance meets energy. As women walk in draped in colour and character, the familiar high-ceilinged space transforms into a lively canvas of expression and individuality.
Setting the soundtrack for the celebration is acclaimed saxophonist Ryan Sadri, popularly known as Rynosax. With over two decades of performing across India and internationally, he is known for his genre-fluid sound that blends jazz, funk and soul with effortless flair. His live set gradually transforms the afternoon from relaxed dining into an immersive and energetic celebration.
Adding to the spirit of the occasion, the first round of shots will be on the house for all the ladies, setting the tone for a gathering that feels generous and celebratory.
At its heart, Sarees & Sax remains unmistakably Monkey Bar. Signature social dining, crafted cocktails and shared plates anchor the experience, creating the perfect setting for lingering conversations and spontaneous moments. Designed as an easy yet stylish gathering, the celebration blends food, fashion and music in seamless harmony.
For over a decade, Monkey Bar has been Bengaluru’s living room, a space that evolves with the city while staying true to its welcoming and energetic charm. With Sarees & Sax, the gastropub reimagines Women’s Day as an expressive, stylish and music-led afternoon.
On 8th March, wrap yourself in your best saree, gather your girls and let the saxophone lead the celebration.
Women’s Day, the Monkey Bar way.
