Advait Greenergy Signs 7 Strategic MoUs Across Industry, Academia and Technology to Accelerate Green Hydrogen, Solar and 2.5 GWh Battery Storage Manufacturing Energy Storage Projects in India

Ahmedabad, Gujarat — 17 March 2026 — Advait Greenergy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of NSE-listed Advait Energy Transitions Ltd., has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with academic institutions, industrial partners, advisory firms and international technology providers to accelerate development of India’s green hydrogen and renewable energy ecosystem. The agreements were executed during the inauguration ceremony of the company’s Phase I – 30 MW Alkaline Electrolyser Assembly Facility.

These collaborations span research, project development, energy storage manufacturing and solar EPC initiatives. Together, they represent a coordinated effort to strengthen the broader clean energy value chain supporting hydrogen production, renewable generation and grid-scale storage technologies in India.

The partnerships reflect the increasing momentum around green hydrogen in the country. India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, which aims to produce 5 million metric tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030, has triggered growing collaboration between technology developers, manufacturing companies, research institutions and energy project developers. Companies operating across the hydrogen value chain are increasingly forming alliances to accelerate deployment of electrolyser systems, renewable power infrastructure and hydrogen-based industrial solutions.

Advait Greenergy’s newly inaugurated electrolyser assembly facility in Gujarat serves as a focal point for these collaborations. The company’s strategy involves combining manufacturing capability with partnerships across project development, research, advisory and supply chain technologies to support the rapid expansion of hydrogen infrastructure in India.

Key Collaboration Highlights

  • Academic Partnership: MoU with Ganpat University – U. V. Patel College of Engineering to support curriculum development, internships, research and skill development in green hydrogen, solar energy, BESS and fuel cell technologies.
  • Green Hydrogen Project Development: Collaboration with Deep Industries Limited to jointly participate in green hydrogen tenders issued by NTPC, SECI, IOC, HPCL, BPCL, GAIL and state utilities.
  • Hydrogen Project Execution: Partnership with G Power Solutions to jointly develop and execute green hydrogen projects across industrial, commercial and public sector clients in India.
  • Solar and Energy Storage Integration: Agreement with MKC Infrastructure Limited and Hexatron Industries Limited to collaborate on BESS solutions and solar PV module supply for integrated renewable energy projects.
  • Project Advisory and Structuring: Collaboration with Nangia & Co. LLP and Nangia Global Advisors LLP to support feasibility studies, financial modelling, project structuring and investment mobilisation for green hydrogen initiatives.
  • Energy Storage Manufacturing Technology: Partnership with Wuhan Huagong International Development Co., Ltd. (HGTECH) to design and install a 2.5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System manufacturing line.
  • Solar EPC Project Development: Collaboration with Mecpower Solutions Limited to jointly identify and bid for ground-mounted solar EPC projects across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

One of the MoUs has been signed with Ganpat University – U. V. Patel College of Engineering, aimed at strengthening academic-industry collaboration in emerging clean energy technologies. The partnership will support curriculum development, student internships, industrial training programmes, technical visits, guest lectures and collaborative research initiatives. Areas of focus include green hydrogen technologies, solar energy systems, battery energy storage solutions and fuel cell technologies.

By integrating academic institutions with industrial projects, the collaboration is expected to contribute to developing a skilled workforce capable of supporting India’s expanding clean energy sector.

Advait Greenergy has also signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Deep Industries Limited to jointly participate in green hydrogen tenders issued by major energy organisations including NTPC, SECI, IOC, HPCL, BPCL, GAIL and state utilities. The partnership establishes a cooperation framework for jointly bidding for hydrogen projects and executing large-scale hydrogen infrastructure initiatives across India.

In addition, the company has entered into an agreement with G Power Solutions to jointly identify, promote and develop green hydrogen projects across industrial, commercial and public sector segments. The collaboration will focus on identifying new opportunities, supporting project development and expanding deployment of hydrogen technologies across different industries.

Advait Greenergy has further expanded its partnerships in the energy storage and solar infrastructure sectors through a collaboration with MKC Infrastructure Limited and Hexatron Industries Limited. The MoU focuses on integrating Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions with solar photovoltaic module supply, enabling integrated renewable energy projects combining solar generation and storage technologies.

Under the framework, Advait Greenergy will support EPC activities and synchronization of BESS components, while Hexatron Industries will supply solar PV modules and provide technical support and compliance services for solar infrastructure deployment.

To strengthen project advisory and financial structuring capabilities, Advait Greenergy has also signed an MoU with Nangia & Co. LLP and Nangia Global Advisors LLP. The partnership will support the identification and development of green hydrogen projects while assisting with feasibility studies, financial modelling, investment mobilisation and transaction advisory services. Advait Greenergy will contribute engineering and implementation expertise, while Nangia will provide advisory and project structuring capabilities required for large-scale project development.

In the technology manufacturing domain, Advait Greenergy has entered into a collaboration with Wuhan Huagong International Development Co., Ltd. (HGTECH) for the design and installation of a 2.5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System manufacturing line. The scope of the partnership includes engineering, supply, shipment, installation and commissioning of the manufacturing facility. Advait Greenergy will ensure site readiness, utilities and logistics support for the installation of the manufacturing infrastructure.

This collaboration is expected to support the expansion of domestic battery manufacturing capacity and strengthen India’s grid-scale energy storage capabilities.

Another agreement has been signed with Mecpower Solutions Limited to jointly identify, evaluate and bid for solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) tenders. The collaboration will primarily target ground-mounted solar projects across multiple states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, expanding the company’s renewable energy project portfolio across India.

“India’s clean energy transition will require strong collaboration across technology providers, industry, academia and project developers. These MoUs represent an important step toward building a broader ecosystem that can accelerate the development of green hydrogen, solar and energy storage projects in India. By working with partners across research, manufacturing and project execution, Advait Greenergy aims to contribute meaningfully to the country’s growing clean energy infrastructure,” said Shalin Sheth, Director, Advait Greenergy Pvt.
