Student Circus Launches Talent Connect—UK–India 2026 to Strengthen Structured Return Pathways for Globally Educated Indian Graduates

National, 18th March 2026:  Against the backdrop of rising inbound talent mobility and growing demand in India for globally skilled professionals, Student Circus, an international graduate employability platform, has announced the launch of Talent Connect — UK–India 2026, a virtual career fair aimed at connecting UK-educated Indian students and alumni with full-time roles and internship opportunities in India. Registrations open on 17 March and will remain open until 21 April 2026.

The fair is expected to bring together over 3,000 participants from more than 30 UK universities, including current students, recent graduates, and early-career alumni seeking structured pathways to enter the Indian workforce. Opportunities will span sectors such as financial services, consulting, engineering, business management, creative industries, and supply chain operations. Participating employers include organisations such as IIFL Capital, Sutherland, Zoff Spices, Kalki Fashion, Inc.5 Shoes, Nua, and BTG Advaya, reflecting expanding hiring demand across both established industries and emerging growth sectors.

Recruiters participating in the fair will gain focused access to a pool of globally trained Indian graduates from leading UK universities, enabling employers to connect with early-career talent bringing strong academic foundations and international exposure. The fair is sponsored by the University of Birmingham and the University of Glasgow. Students and alumni from institutions such as Imperial College London, the University of Bristol, Warwick Business School, the University of Leeds, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Exeter, and several other leading UK universities are expected to participate.

“Talent Connect—UK–India 2026 has been created in response to a clear shift in how globally educated Indian graduates are planning their careers. Hiring timelines across destinations are becoming tighter, entry-level competition is intensifying, and post-study pathways can be less predictable. At the same time, India’s growth across fintech, AI, consulting, engineering, startups, and structured management programmes is creating strong domestic opportunities for internationally trained talent. This initiative is designed to position India not as a fallback option, but as a strategic and commercially viable career destination. By creating a focused bridge between UK-educated graduates and India-based employers, we aim to support informed and confident early-career decision-making,” said Tripti Maheshwari, co-founder, Student Circus.

“We are seeing growing interest among internationally educated Indian students in exploring career pathways back in India, alongside opportunities in global markets. The Talent Connect event is a new experience for our students, allowing them to engage directly with employers, understand evolving hiring expectations, and evaluate India-based roles within a focused and credible activity. We’re looking forward to seeing how this can support more informed and long-term career planning for our students,” said Katie Cliff, Head of Careers and Employability Services at Leeds Beckett University.

Eligible candidates from participating universities can register for the virtual fair through the official event platform at https://talentconnect.vfairs.com/, where detailed information on roles, participating employers, and engagement formats is available.
