Mumbai, 21th March 2026: Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, in collaboration with designer Amit Aggarwal, will unveil its latest collection, ‘Orizon’, at Lakmē Fashion Week on 21st March. Rooted in Indriya’s philosophy of heritage as a living, evolving force, the showcase celebrates jewellery as an expression of India’s rich craftsmanship through a contemporary lens of illumination in motion. At the ramp, Indriya will redefine Polki through luminous light play, colour exploration of precious stones, and uncompromised quality of uncut diamonds giving us heritage craft into modern wearable poetry. The rich ‘kaarigari’ will be complemented by Aggarwal’s handloom fabrics, vintage Banarasi textiles and contemporary mirrorwork thus creating a contemporary dialogue between tradition and innovation.
“Orizon” is conceived as a narrative of transformation. Light marks a rare moment of change, and the collection traces the shift from shadow to radiance — an inner journey that moves from introspection to stepping confidently into the light. Through this progression, tradition awakens into modern expression, revealing form, feeling and purpose with renewed clarity.

Indriya, Aditya Birla Jewellery, was conceived to bring heritage stories of India through modern expressions of jewellery. The show, by extension, will speak to the modern woman who is empowered by her heritage. A striking facet of the show is how Polki is redefined through the mastery of light, colour and light-weightiness. Indriya’s master kaarigars, moving beyond convention by deploying the samosa dart setting technique (a nuanced craftsmanship detail where the angular structure beneath each polki stone enhances light reflection, creating an unparalleled brilliance) is poised to make the jewellery stand out. Indriya’s pairing of polki with a captivating palette of rare and precious stones: vivid tourmalines, deep tanzanites, rich sapphires, and classic rubies often accentuated with the soft opulence of South Sea pearls is a deliberate interplay that underscores individuality and expression. Moreover, innovative setting techniques such as wall-prong and corner bezels settings minimise the visibility of metal, allowing the gemstones to take centre stage. In a nod to looking back while moving forward, Polki is made lighter, with a fluid aesthetic and intuitively designed to contour seamlessly to the body, embodying both comfort and elegance, while retaining the grandeur of heritage craftsmanship.

Parallel to this narrative, Amit Aggarwal approaches design as a process of evolution. Titled “Orizon,” the showcase unfolds as a carefully constructed visual journey. It begins in restraint and shadow, symbolising moments of inward reflection and quiet strength. Gradually, jewel tones, reflective surfaces, crystal embellishments and reinterpreted heritage textiles begin to emerge. As light interacts with form, the narrative evolves into one of confidence and self-expression.
The presentation culminates in softened metallics and luminous hues, evoking a refined, contemporary bridal sensibility where softness and strength coexist. Orizon becomes a metaphor for transformation—a moment where inherited tradition meets personal awakening, allowing the wearer to step into a more empowered self.

The collection reflects our ongoing exploration of transforming heritage textiles through material innovation and sculptural form, allowing tradition to expand into new expressions. This season, working with preloved Banarasi textiles and mirror work, the idea was to push them beyond their known vocabulary and allow them to exist in a more fluid, future-facing context. Our collaboration with Indriya felt instinctive in this context, as both practices are rooted in craftsmanship yet driven by a shared vision for the future. Together, we wanted to create a narrative where garment and jewellery evolve in dialogue, revealing how adornment can amplify emotion, form and presence.”
