Panda’s Box Launches #Screen-Free Navratri Campaign to Drive Digital Detox Among Families

India, 23rd March 2026: #ScreenFreeNavratri Panda’s Box has launched its Navratri Digital Detox Campaign, a 9-day initiative encouraging families to replace 15 minutes of daily screen use with culturally rooted, screen-free activities.

Positioned at the intersection of digital wellness and cultural engagement, the campaign aims to build mindful habits among children while strengthening the bond between parents and children during the festive time.

To drive community participation the campaign is anchored around the hashtags #ScreenFreeNavratri, #OfflineIsTheNewCool, and #9Nights0Screens, encouraging families to share their screen-free moments online.

Commenting on the campaign, Rajat Mendiratta, Founder of Panda’s Box, said, “Campaigns today are about participation, not just messaging. With this initiative, we are creating a simple format that encourages families to actively engage, share, and build meaningful habits together.”

Campaign Structure – 9 Days, 9 Activities:

Day 1: Storytelling on Navratri traditions

Day 2: Garba or cultural dance activity

Day 3: DIY craft (paper diya/flower offering)

Day 4: Mantra chanting

Day 5: Navratri-themed colouring activity

Day 6: Stories of Maa Durga’s strength and courage

Day 7: Kanya Pujan preparation (cards/badges)

Day 8: Kanya Pujan celebration at home

Day 9: Temple visit on Ram Navami

Participants are required to complete one activity daily and submit a short video (up to 2 minutes) via WhatsApp. Only families completing all 9 activities without screen usage qualify for the final reward.

Adding to this, Sukriti Mendiratta, Founder of Panda’s Box, said, “The idea is to make going offline feel rewarding and relevant. By combining tradition with participation-led content, the campaign encourages families to create and share moments that truly matter.”

The winning family will receive a 6-month Panda’s Box subscription, along with support for a Kanya Pujan/donation initiative for girls through a partner NGO.
