Indore, 08 April 2026: Mount Everest Breweries Limited (MEBL) has crossed 1 million hectolitres (Mn HL) in sales, making it one of India’s fastest-scaling breweries. This achievement is equivalent to 1.28 crore cases, which shows the company’s rapid growth and increasing consumer demand across the country.
Central to this growth is MEBL’s flagship brand STOK, which crossed 1 million cases with accelerated growth in the last 3 years. The brand is now available across 14 states & 3UTs — a significant feat in India’s highly fragmented beer market. The company’s broader portfolio has also gained traction, with Lemount and Mount both present in over 7 states, reflecting strong consumer acceptance and deepening market penetration.
“Crossing the 1 Mn HL milestone is a defining moment for us.” says Vedant Kedia, Whole Time Director of Mount Everest Breweries Ltd, “It not only just reflects our growth but also the strong consumer connection our brands have built across markets. With further investments in capacity, distribution, and product quality, we are well-positioned to sustain our strong double-digit growth trajectory and continue to expand our presence in India.”
This milestone comes on the back of sustained double-digit volume growth, positioning MEBL as one of the fastest-growing beer companies in India. To support its expansion ambitions, MEBL acquired a brewery in Mysore in 2025, enabling more efficient operations. With this addition, the company’s total brewing capacity now stands at 3.5 Mn HL.
Operational excellence remains a key pillar of MEBL’s growth strategy. The company has invested in supply chain and distribution efficiencies to ensure that consumers consistently experience fresh and chilled beer, further enhancing brand loyalty and market competitiveness.
As the Indian beer market continues to grow and evolve, MEBL remains focused on responsible growth, quality, and reaching more consumers with brands built for today’s India.
