Teleport (backed by SMV) Launches Teleport Care, India’s First Concierge Visa Service Built for Elderly Travellers

Bangalore, 8th April 2026: Bangalore-based AI Visa processing Startup Teleport (backed by StampMyVisa) has announced its new offering – Teleport Care, a concierge visa assistance service designed specifically for elderly Indian travellers. As part of this value added service, senior citizens traveling abroad to meet their family will be assisted by a dedicated relationship manager who would visit applicants’ home, collect documents, prepare the visa application, and guide the travellers through every step of the process. For the biometric appointment or visa interview, the agent would accompany the applicants to the visa centre, and escort them safely back home.

Throughout the journey, the NRI family member abroad receives real-time WhatsApp updates, allowing them to stay informed without needing to manage the process across time zones. The service is now live for US, UK, Canada, and Schengen visa applications

Commenting on the launch, Rahul Borude, Co-founder CEO, StampMyVisa, says, “We kept hearing the same story from NRIs across the US, UK and Canada. They didn’t care about fancy dashboards or faster apps. They just wanted to know if their parents are able to navigate through the complex visa process and if it can be made simpler for them. It is really stressful for the NRI family and the senior citizens. It is surprising that in the last decade, the global travel industry has spent billions of Dollars building faster booking apps, AI-powered itinerary planners, and automated customer journeys. Nearly every friction point in modern travel has been digitised, except one — The visa application process. As a market leader in the visa processing segment, we wanted to solve this bottleneck using the right blend of tech and human intervention. We dedicate this service to the senior citizens of India so that they can travel fearlessly and without any stress.”

According to industry estimates, 24% of outbound travellers from India are elderly parents visiting children living abroad. Yet the visa process still demands that applicants navigate complex government portals, complete OTP-based authentication, upload documents within strict size limits, manage biometric appointment bookings, and prepare for in-person interviews, all with minimal guidance.

Teleport Care may look like a return to the traditional travel agent model. In reality, it is something more deliberate. Behind the scenes, technology handles document validation, workflow automation, and appointment scheduling, allowing relationship managers to focus entirely on human interaction. What the traveller experiences is seamless, personal, and stress-free. What powers it is modern operational infrastructure built by StampMyVisa.

“We are not rejecting technology, we are simply putting it in the background so that people can focus on empathy,” adds Mr Borude.
