April 24, 2026: adidas Originals, a global brand rooted in local culture, announces its first-ever India co-created sneaker with brand ambassador Ranveer Singh.
A defining moment for the brand in India, the drop brings a distinctly Indian voice to one of its most iconic silhouettes, the Adidas Superstar, reimagined through Ranveer Singh’s personal lens of expression and identity.
Recognised as a generational performer in Indian cinema, Ranveer Singh brings his era defining dynamism to this collaboration. This edition of the ‘Superstar’ embodies the reflection of his persona – fearless and expressive. Every element of this design is layered with meaning. Drawing inspiration from his spirit animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger, the design channels instinct, power and individuality. A bold black-and-white anchors the silhouette, elevated with tiger-inspired detailing across the signature three stripes, a bespoke ‘Ranveer Singh’ insignia, and jewel-like accents that introduce depth, texture and dramatic intensity.

The sneaker is introduced through a visually arresting campaign set within an urban jungle, an evocative world where instinct meets expression. At its centre is Ranveer Singh, with a presence that is both raw and controlled. The narrative explores dualities – precision and chaos, restraint and freedom, mirroring the spirit of the tiger and the essence of originality.
This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for adidas Originals in India, reinforcing the Superstar’s enduring legacy while firmly placing Indian creativity within the global conversation.
