Swiggy Teams Up with Dinesh Karthik to Celebrate Food and Sports During the IPL Season

As part of the campaign, Swiggy has launched a humorous digital film featuring Dinesh Karthik. The film captures a relatable, everyday match-watching scenario where a family enjoys a cricket game alongside their meal. Bringing a playful twist, Karthik appears in unexpected situations—most notably in a wicketkeeper stance at the dining table—offering “stump mic”-style commentary and encouragement as family members pass dishes like daal and salan.

The film cleverly highlights how food and cricket are deeply intertwined in Indian households. Whether it’s friends gathering for a thrilling match or families settling in for an evening game, ordering food is no longer just an add-on—it’s a natural extension of the experience.
