Bengaluru, 29th May 2026: Carpisa, the Italian market leader in women’s and men’s bags, luggage, accessories and small leather goods, has officially entered the Indian market with the opening of its first store at Phoenix Market City Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore. Kuvera S.p.A. (Carpisa), based in Napoli, has got into a long-term licensing agreement with Neopolis brands to develop the brand strongly in India with a plan of opening more than 100 stores.

The store launch on 28th May was commemorated with an exclusive in-store soirée attended by Mr. Giandomenico Milano, the Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, alongside actor and style icon Sobhita Dhulipala, in presence of prominent personalities from Bengaluru’s fashion, business and media fraternity.
Highlighting the cultural synergy between Italian design and upgradation of consumption in India, Mr. Giandomenico Milano remarked, “Italy has long been admired for its fashion and design. What makes this moment special is that Italian style is finding a growing audience among Indian consumers. The combination of premium international quality and accessible pricing makes it especially appealing for the Indian market.” Carpisa pricing in India will include women handbags in the price range of Rs. 4000 to Rs. 6000 while Gen Z focussed sling bags will be priced at around Rs. 3000 to Rs. 4000.
Neopolis brands is launching Carpisa in Bangalore city with omni-channel distribution with flagship store at Phoenix Market City mall along with a couple of shop in shops at Shoppers Stop department store including at Bannerghatta and pop up store at Brigade Orion Mall at Rajajinagar. The brand collection will also be simultaneously available through brand website and key online portals including Myntra, Nykaa and Tata Cliq, showcasing importance of fast growing online channels for young women consumers.
