National, 8th June 2026: BITS Pilani, through its Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP), inaugurated its latest B.Tech batch for employees of Tata Autocomp Systems. This ceremony marks another pivotal milestone in the automotive sector’s skilling journey, further solidifying the deepening industry-academia partnership between BITS Pilani WILP and Tata Autocomp.
Building on the success of previous cohorts and graduates, this program is designed to empower professionals with advanced engineering and technology expertise. It enables Tata AutoComp’s workforce to pursue world-class higher education without interrupting their careers, equipping them with competencies directly applicable to the evolving challenges of mobility, manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 transformation.
The B.Tech programme is designed to meet the specific needs of the automotive sector, focusing on areas such as mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and IoT in mobility. Delivered through BITS Pilani WILP’s work-integrated learning model, the curriculum enables Tata Autocomp employees to earn a formal engineering degree without pausing their careers. By combining academic theory with practical application, the curriculum ensures immediate relevance on the shop floor and in design labs. The initiative continues to build a skilled talent pool within Tata Autocomp, ready to drive innovation and operational excellence in India’s evolving automotive ecosystem.
