Abundantia Entertainment Strengthens Leadership Team

Mumbai, June 24th 2026 – Abundantia Entertainment, one of India’s leading content studios, today announced the appointment of Ramesh Mundhra as Head – Business Affairs, Strategy and Operations, as the company continues to build a future-ready leadership structure aligned with its next phase of growth, on the back of a solid start to 2026 that has featured back-to-back success in the form of Subedaar, Daldal and Maa Behen.

Ramesh brings over two decades of experience spanning strategy, content acquisition, business planning, studio operations and commercial leadership. He joins from Viacom18 (now JioStar), where he spent 18 years across leadership roles in Studios, Content Production, and Strategy -contributing to titles including Padmaavat, Andhadhun, Drishyam, Fighter, Jamtara, and Kaalkoot, among others. Prior to Viacom18, he built his foundation in finance and business operations at Tata Sky.

Commenting on the appointment, Vikram Malhotra, Founder and CEO, Abundantia Entertainment, said, “As Abundantia scales up in ambition — creatively, operationally, and commercially — it is critical that we have the right people architecture in place. Abundantia Entertainment has a robust project pipeline spanning the second half of 2026 and well into 2027, with titles like Family Business (new series with Netflix), Sundar Poonam (new original film with Prime Video), Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal (in theatres) and a slate of films driven by AI under Abundantia’s AI content vertical, aiON.
