Asian Paints brings ‘Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai’ to Life; Partners with Zomato to celebrate India’s Ghar Pehchaan System

Building on its Colour Warranty proposition, the campaign celebrates the uniquely Indian way of recognising and remembering homes through colour.

Mumbai, July 01, 2026: Long before digital maps and location pins, India had its own way of finding home. It was the blue house opposite the temple, the yellow bungalow at the corner, the green building beside the market. Across generations and geographies, colours became a familiar language of navigation, helping people recognise places, remember streets and find their way home.

It is this unique relationship between colour and identity that lies at the heart of Asian Paints’ Colour Warranty proposition. When colours stand the test of time, they become a home’s identity, a familiar landmark and, for millions of Indians, a way to navigate everyday life. With every second home in India celebrating Asian Paints’ Colour Warranty, the brand brings alive the idea that India has always had its own GPS – a Ghar Pehchaan System built through colours.

Bringing this cultural insight to life, Asian Paints presents ‘Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai’, a campaign that celebrates the unique role colours play in helping Indians recognise, remember and return home.

Extending this thought beyond storytelling, Asian Paints has partnered with Zomato to bring India’s Ghar Pehchaan System (GPS) into a contemporary context. Both brands share a common point of navigation – helping people find their way to homes every single day. Through the integration of colour identifiers within the Zomato experience, the initiative brings this everyday behaviour to life, showing how colours continue to serve as familiar and meaningful markers that help people identify homes in a way that feels intuitive and uniquely Indian. The integration will be live for 15 days across nearly 4 million orders across India.

The digital film follows the journey of a delivery partner discovering a neighbourhood one interaction at a time. Each exchange captures familiar moments from everyday life, where directions are instinctively shared through colours rather than street numbers or building names. Rooted in observations that resonate across cities, towns and villages, and across generations, the film reflects how deeply colours are woven into India’s lived experience. It brings alive a simple yet universally relatable truth that while addresses may be forgotten, landmarks may change and directions may evolve, the colour of a home often remains the easiest and most familiar way to identify and remember it. This association was brought alive by White Rivers Media.

Speaking about the campaign, Amit Syngle, MD & CEO, Asian Paints, said:  Every home has a story, and very often that story begins with its colour. Across India, colours have quietly become a way for people to identify places, share directions and create lasting memories. With every second home in India celebrating Asian Paints’ Colour Warranty, we’ve witnessed colours become lasting identifiers of homes and neighbourhoods across the country. ‘Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai’ celebrates this uniquely Indian way of navigating through colour, and our collaboration with Zomato brings that everyday insight to life in a way that feels familiar, intuitive and deeply rooted in how India finds its way home.”

With ‘Rang Hi Asli Pata Hai’, Asian Paints celebrates an everyday Indian behaviour that has quietly stood the test of time. By bringing together culture, technology and lived experiences, the initiative is a tribute to the simple ways in which people recognise places, build familiarity and create a sense of belonging – one colour, one neighbourhood and one shared memory at a time.
