Storyteller, actor and filmmaker Sudhanshu Rai has unveiled the first look of Detective Boomrah and the Killer, a supernatural detective thriller that takes his popular fictional detective into his darkest and most dangerous case yet. Blending mystery, mythology and horror, the series promises an eerie cinematic experience for fans of the genre.
The first look introduces a sinister force that silently stalks its victims across seven lifetimes, waiting for the end of their karmic journey before claiming their souls. When a young woman becomes its next target, Detective Boomrah finds himself investigating a mystery where every clue pulls him deeper into a terrifying world that defies logic and reason.

Over the years, Detective Boomrah has built a loyal following through stories, podcasts and screen adaptations. With Detective Boomrah and the Killer, the franchise expands into a larger cinematic world, raising the stakes with supernatural twists, haunting visuals and a story that blends suspense with Indian mythology.
Written by Sudhanshu Rai, the series is creatively led by Rai and Puneet Sharma, while Divyansh Sharma has helmed the visual execution and editing. The makers have also incorporated AI-assisted filmmaking techniques to create the series’ expansive supernatural world and atmospheric visuals.

Produced by Sudhanshu Rai, Manisha Sharma and Puneet Sharma under the banner Saints Art Private Limited, the series comes from the makers of Baida and Chaipatti, with support from Mother Sparsh. Slated to premiere this winter, Detective Boomrah and the Killer aims to deliver a gripping supernatural mystery while taking the beloved detective into unexplored territory.
